Located on the first floor of the historic Star & Garter by Putney Bridge, The River Room boasts beautiful views across the River Thames. Its ornate Victorian plastering has been refurbished in delicate cream tones giving a light spacious feel. The room is ideal for wedding ceremonies as well as receptions. Informal buffets for up to 220 guests are a speciality, though smaller groups can be accommodated. We can cater for a formal 3-course sit-down for up to 120 guests.

Room hire starts at £500.00 for a ceremony only, £700 for a reception only, and £1000 to hold both! This includes set up of the room, bar/catering staff, tables, chairs, linen, cutlery, crockery and any use of our equipment that you may require.

The room has a licence until 11pm, however with food and live music we are able to provide a late licence until 1am.

With our experienced banqueting staff at hand we are able to ensure your function runs smoothly.
