Crockstead is a small, select country hotel set in 200 acres of glorious private parkland. Nestling in the heart of the Sussex countryside it is located 15 miles from the famous seaside resorts of Brighton and Eastbourne and not far from Royal Tunbridge Wells.
The historic town of Lewes is 7 miles, Gatwick 17, Haywards Heath 12, Glyndebourne 2 and the East Sussex National Golf Course just a 1/4 mile.
The Crockstead estate itself can be traced back to the 13th Century, although most of the existing buildings date from the 16th Century, as evidenced by the wealth of beams, flagstone floors and huge fireplace all sympathetically restored to create a warm, relaxing and luxurious atmosphere for our guests.
Crockstead boasts two flexible functions suites suitable for civil partnership ceremonies. The historic Mill Room seats up to 150, but with the internal marquee extension in place can accommodate up 2,000.
The Mill Room is approached via a beautiful 16th Century circular courtyard and benefits from separate bar facility and a raised stage suitable for top table or live music.
