Dornoch Castle Hotel
This is a 15th Century Castle with original features and a wonderful restaurant, which leads directly onto the walled gardens.
There are 24 refurbished en-suite bedrooms featuring several four-posters, each with their own individual touches and with comfort as top priority.
There are massive open fireplaces with log fires welcoming the customer. The 15th century stonework, oak floors and interesting furnishings lend an atmosphere of ease, warmth and comfort.
For weddings, the facilities are second to none. The Castle is literally a one-minute walk away from the attractive registry office, and small services have been held in the hotel and in the pretty walled gardens.
We can hold anything up to 90 persons for a wedding reception and specialise in fresh local produce, unusual wines and malts.
We do lots of smaller weddings and vow renewals - from 2 to 90 persons.
We have a small private lounge for small ceremonies/meals which can take up to 20 persons. Our garden restaurant can take up to 96 persons.
If the wedding party hires exclusive use of the hotel then there are no restrictions on the finishing time for celebrations.
