Hartwell House Hotel
Hartwell House Hotel, Restaurant and Spa is situated in the Vale of Aylesbury just 40 miles north west of London and was formerly the home in exile of King Louis XVIII of France from 1809 to 1814.
The house has been sympathetically restored by Historic House Hotels Ltd, and stands in 90 acres of parkland, with a lake spanned by a stone bridge and a ruined church.

This 4AA red star hotel is one of the finest in the country with the large and historic public rooms providing magnificent settings for relaxing in comfort with friends and to enjoy the award winning restaurant. The dramatic Gothic hall and Jacobean staircase lead to 30 superbly appointed bedrooms and suites.
A further 10 suites and 6 bedrooms are situated in the Hartwell Court, and it is here in the Hartwell Rooms where civil ceremonies take place, with both the James Wyatt and James Gibbs rooms covered by the licence.
Also situated in the Hartwell Court is the Spa with an indoor pool, gymnasium, whirl pool bath, steam rooms, treatments room and a galleried Buttery bar.

A number of ceremony and reception options are available for you to consider, and we would welcome the opportunity of discussing your requirements in person.
