London Canal Museum
A charming waterside venue on two floors set in an historic building. The venue has loads of character and interesting exhibits, including a narrow boat, a bicycle that served ice-cream, the old ice storage well and photos of canal history. There is even a horse that neighs - don't worry this can be turned off during your celebrations!
You can hire the museum and then bring in your own caterers, band, decorations, flowers to really make your day unique.
You can have the drinks reception downstairs, where guests can look at the exhibits or stroll out on to the decked terrace. This is beside a canal basin with colourful narrow boats - an urban beauty spot that seems a world away from the city. You can even arrive by boat for an extra special touch.
The museum caters for up to 120 seated or 200 standing guests.
This is where Nicola and Laura, the founders of this website, had their civil partnership. You can see pictures and a description in the articles section of this website.
