Lothian in the south east of Scotland is the region that contains Edinburgh. You can find a wedding venue in this beautiful region either in the city or surrounding countryside.
In the countryside, you can choose a venue in the Lammermuir hills, the Moorfoot and Pentland Hills or Bass Rock in the Firth of Forth, which is famous for its large seabird population.
The only other major towns are Livingston and Dumbarton. Make sure you ask your wedding venue to include some local produce on the menu - bacon, vegetables and, of course, whisky.
