You need to think about the design of your wedding stationery - do you want it to be stylish, funny, standard, handmade? You could get a graphic designer, illustrator or cartoonist involved or produce something on your own computer if you are that way inclined.
In terms of printing, you can either go to specialist wedding stationers or local printers. Allow at least six weeks in case there are any printing errors.
When you are ordering quantities, add an extra 20, in case you make a mistake when writing them out or you want to invite a few extras at the last minute.
If you are having some guests just for the evening, you might want separate invitations for them. Other stationery to consider includes the order of service sheets, menus, place cards and thank you cards.
